What is Maror Festival?

Maror is an indie and alternative music festival born in 2024 in Villajoyosa with a different proposal: reduced capacity (not Primavera Sound or Sónar), beach as natural stage, focus on emerging and established artists from the Spanish indie scene. The 3rd 2026 edition continues the discovery line — bands that in 2 years will fill big venues.

2026 Lineup (confirmed)

Confirmed headliners: Carlos Ares and Sanguijuelas del Guadiana. The rest of the lineup is confirmed progressively in the previous months. 2026 trend: indie folk + alternative rock + new Spanish urban scene. Check the official festival website for full lineup and daily schedules.

The stage: Antoneta beach in Villajoyosa

Antoneta beach is a cove north of the fishing port, separated from the tourist centre, with golden sand and Mediterranean view. The stage faces the sea — during concerts the sun sets behind the audience. Capacity around 3,000 people — intimate feel, not a mass festival.

How to get to the festival from El Campello

By TRAM line 1 towards Benidorm to Villajoyosa stop (30 min direct). From the station, 15 minutes walking to Antoneta beach. By car: 13 minutes via N-332. The festival ends around 02:00 — the last TRAM back to El Campello leaves before (check schedules), so you will need taxi or designated driver. Worth it.

Consejos prácticos
